OMEGA TOWER, INDORE
The developers behind one of Indore’s largest office blocks were quick to appreciate the benefits that using ClearShield™ could bring. Mr Sukhvir Singh Mahal, owner of the Omega Tower, was determined to make best use of this innovative technology throughout the project, specifiying ClearShield™ to all four sides of the building.
With over 10,000 sq ft of high performance Saint Gobain sealed units forming the impressive façade, it was essential to provide protection during construction to minimise any damage from silicone sealants, paint and general dirt stirred up during the build process. Once completed, ClearShield’s ‘non-stick’ properties will result in lower cleaning frequency and maintain the original visibility and sparkling appearance of glass.
PRIVATE RESIDENCE, MAHARASHTRA
Momin and Sons, an approved on-site applicator based in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, treated some residential glass that was badly contaminated by water marks and limescale that seemed impossible to shift. With the unique ClearShield™ System however, the contamination was removed, restoring the glass to an ‘as-new’ appearance. The next stage was the application of ClearShield™ to provide durable protection from future contamination plus a long-lasting pristine appearance.
Nisar Momin, the company owner, said: ‘The client was so amazed by the transformation and delighted with the result that he wanted us to renovate and protect glass throughout the house with the ClearShield System.’
SOLACE HOSPITAL, GUJARAT
A beautiful canopy, dressed in autumn leaves, greets visitors at the newly built Solace Hospital in Vadodara, Gujarat. Embracing the notion of physical space being vital to a patient's healing process, the canopy signifies renewal, the start of a new phase.
The leaves are rendered with intricate details in warm colours of the fall; this design is integrated with a dot-frit pattern that is black when viewed from below but completely white when viewed from above. All the panels on the top surface are protected with ClearShield(r) to resist water stains and damage from airborne pollutants.'
This should be the first case study so it goes before the Omega Tower, Indore one. I have attached the picture for the animated banner, please insert this in between the 'Sanderson Hotel London' and 'Omega Tower,
SHANGHAI WORLD FINANCE CENTER, CHINA
With a height of over 1,600 feet, this building is one of the tallest in the world.
More than a million sq ft of glass was treated with ClearShield™ in the factory prior to installation. This meant any harsh inorganic contaminants on the glass, such as concrete splatter and cement dust, was easier to remove during construction. Therefore ClearShield™ reduced potential costly delays during construction and provided a significantly lower-cost alternative to replacing the glass due to surface damage.
LLOYD'S OF LONDON, UK
The owners of the Lloyd’s Building found that paint on the frame around the atrium was shedding and plating onto the glass and adhering to the surface, making cleaning extremely difficult. The glass was successfully upgraded to ClearShield™ Glass in-situ.
Today, the paint still flakes, but thanks to ClearShield™ is easily wiped off and conventional cleaning methods are still sufficient to maintain the pristine condition of the glass.
SANDERSON HOTEL, UK
The Sanderson clearly seeks high standards, with the best service and surroundings for its customers, so the use of ClearShield to re-invigorate the bathrooms was a natural choice.
Sandblasted glass shower cubicles in 150 rooms were renovated and protected. As a result, not only did the glass look sparkling and pristine, they were also easier to clean and created a greater hygienic environment as ClearShield impedes the adherence of bacteria.
